Firebase Realtime Database in Android Studio

Realtime Database:

The Firebase Realtime Database is a cloud-hosted database. Data is stored as JSON and synchronized in realtime to every connected client. When you build cross-platform apps with our iOS, Android, and JavaScript SDKs, all of your clients share one Realtime Database instance and automatically receive updates with the newest data.

For fetching data for Realtime Database in Android apps , we have to implement following code in data showing Activity as :

This code should be written in onCreate() method of DataShowing Activity of your project

  mDatabase = FirebaseDatabase.getInstance().getReference(Constants.DATABASE_PATH_UPLOADS);

        //adding an event listener to fetch values
        mDatabase.addValueEventListener(new ValueEventListener() {
            public void onDataChange(DataSnapshot snapshot) {
                //dismissing the progress dialog

                //iterating through all the values in database
                for (DataSnapshot postSnapshot : snapshot.getChildren()) {
                    Upload upload = postSnapshot.getValue(Upload.class);
                //creating adapter
                adapter = new MyAdapter(getApplicationContext(), uploads);

                //adding adapter to recyclerview

            public void onCancelled(DatabaseError databaseError) {

Problem will be discussed in Comment section.
